Rohde & Schwarz offers a full product line for COMINT and EW systems and applications, such as antennas from 1 kHz to 40 GHz, receivers for all communication bands, direction finders fully digitally for landbased, shipborne or airborne operation, signal analyzers and classifiers in particular for data communications signal processing.
But the company does not only provide those COMINT and EW systems and applications. Its strength is to design and deliver customer tailored turnkey systems, for example an integrated shipborne early warning System, COM-ESM.
R&S systems for COMINT applications are run for instance by the specifically designed modular software RAMON which allows an extremely flexible configuration of systems. The COMINT/ESM systems R&S RAMON offer features like search, monitoring, radiolocation, signal analysis and signal classification and reporting. The basic layer of the system consists of antennas and antenna systems, radio receivers, direction finders and signal analyzers.
The radiomonitoring and analysis system AMMOS can be adapted by users to carry out specific radiomonitoring tasks. This COMINT system is able to perform a large variety of tasks for signal interception, signal classification, analysis, demodulation, decoding, etc.
An AMMOS radiomonitoring system comprises software modules for controlling the receivers and for demodulation, decoding and further analysis of the analog and digital signals, as well as fully automatic signal interception. This includes the possibility of online and offline analysis even of short time (LPI) signals.
