KG"></A> <p>As any electrical device or system has to operate in its electromagnetic environment without disturbing or being disturbed by someone else's requirenment, it should be tested for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) . EMC is subdivided into measurement of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS). Rohde & Schwarz is the leading supplier of test equipment and systems for EMC, EMS and EMI measurements.<br> The company offers a wide range of products for measuring the electromagnetic interference , such as EMI analyzers, EMI receivers and even whole systems for EMI tests and EMI qualification. Of course, these R&S products are in line with the main military and commercial standard (e.g. CISPR certification ). </p> <p>As development progresses, EMI measurements become more and more important, for example on modules and their interfaces.<br> The <a href="http://www.rohde-schwarz.com/www/dev_center.nsf/html/1113113frame">ESIB family</a> of EMI receivers combines the flexibility and speed of spectrum analyzers with the large dynamic range required for EMI measurements in conformance with all industrial and military EMI standards such as CISPR, EN, VDE, ETS, VCCI, MIL-STD, VG, DEF-STAN and GAM EG13. EMI tests can be performed up to 40 GHz.</p> <p>Our new <a href="http://www.rohde-schwarz.com/www/dev_center.nsf/html/111314frame">ESCS30</a> really combines two devices in one: It's not only one of our EMI receivers for EMI tests, but also one of our EMI analyzers. As the accuracy of the EMI measurements is very high, you receive a reliable result (EMI qualification).<br> The R&S Precompliance Kits include components for conducted and radiated EMI tests of emissions. They are intended for all commercial standards such as CISPR, FCC, VDE and VCCI and ideal for pre- CISPR certification, precompliance measurements in development and diagnostic measurements.
