Call it what you will, immunity or susceptibility testing is the fun part of EMC. There is nothing better than loading a device inside the chamber and blasting it with RF energy to see how it reacts. However, the setup and takedown of an immunity test can sour the whole process. Ad hoc systems with several cables that must be moved between multiple amplifiers and then fed to several antennas can take the fun out of immunity testing.

Rohde & Schwarz has a better way. For EN61000, Mil/Aero and Automotive radiated susceptibility (RS) tests, the Rohde & Schwarz Systems Group will integrate an RF switching path and software control to deliver the amplified RF signal to once central antenna point. The system generates the RF field, the operator need only change antenna when prompted by software and monitor the device under test.

Another key advantage we offer is a sophisticated model to predict the fields that can be generated with each combination of amplifier, antenna and chamber. Tell us the standard you want to meet, and we design the system accordingly.
We also have several options for automated conducted susceptibility (CS) tests according to EN61000, MIL-STD, DO-160 and Automotive standards. By joining with our partner EM Test, systems for all the common CS tests are available.

The combination of Rohde & Schwarz and EM Test provides a solution for nearly any EMC applications; one number to call for all EMC. We also partner with industry leading companies like ETS-Lindgren for chambers, antennas and field probes, and draw from the best amplifier manufacturers throughout the world to deliver turnkey EMC projects.

Rohde & Schwarz proves its commitment to the EMC community by being one stop for everything EMC. We even have a EMC dedicated sales force that can help you achieve your testing goals.
