Military Standard EMC Testing

Military demands for electro-magnetic compliance are generally the most stringent in the industry. Given the environment in which military systems operate, proper EMC performance is vital. But simply hooking an antenna to a test instrument often doesn't provide a proper solution to test to MIL-STD 461standards. Cable loss and length, pre-amplifier gain and instrument sensitivity should all be considered when designing a test solution. Rohde & Schwarz has a turnkey system that factors in all of these considerations.

The R&S TS9975 can test MIL-STD461 RE and CE from 20 Hz to 40 GHz.
The R&S TS9983 covers RS102 & RS103 with field strengths to 200 volts per meter. We build these test systems modularly, so adding frequency range upgrades is easy and preserves your initial investment.
For CS tests, we offer the IMS, which combines all the necessary instrumentation for CS114 (Bulk Current Injection), including an integrated spectrum analyzer.
