External upmixing/downmixing is used to prevent cable loss in the high gigahertz range. The R&S SMR 40 signal enerator is used as the external LO source. The frequency-converting measurement option R&S ZVR-B4 provides fully autonomous sweep execution and control of the R&S SMR (fixed and swept LO mode possible). The RF test signal is provided by the R&S ZVT / R&S ZVA port 1. Complex results are enabled by feeding the reference signal IFref to the direct reference channel access of the R&S ZVT / R&S ZVA.
  • Up to 4 receiver channels (6 input ports at the front panel) can be used for further antennas; up to 16 receiver channels are available with the R&S ZVT 8
  • The R&S ZVT / R&S ZVA TTL ports provide easy control for switching the RX/TX modules
