The automation of EMC measurements in development and production has become a topic of interest since the coming into force of the electromagnetic compatibility law (European EMC Directive 89/336/EEC) this year. Labelling electrical and electronic products with the CE mark is now stipulated by law to indicate compliance with international standards for electromagnetic interference and susceptibility.
