The Bluetooth* specifications contain a number of tests to be performed on transmitter modules. One of them is looked at here. This test tip explains how to measure frequency drift of Bluetooth transmitters very accurately, e. g. for module adjustment in equipment production. This test and others, which can be conveniently carried out with Spectrum Analyzers FSE and FSIQ, are detailed in an application note.
