Please proceed as follows. It will only take 5 minutes:
1) Please check first which keystrokes on the machine you need to find the "Language" setting of the CTS60. We recommend that you write it down on paper.
2) Boot the instrument with the external monitor and keyboard connected.
3) When you hear the second sequence of beeps (after loading "himem.sys"), press CTRL+BREAK.
4) Type "cd CTD" and press ENTER.
5) Type "cd RDS" and press ENTER.
6) If there is a pure ASCII editor on your CTS60, edit the last six ASCII entries in the file "rds.cfg" (for a 6-digit password).
If there is no editor (as on my CTS30, for example), do the following:
6a) Type "ren rds.cfg *.old" and press ENTER.
6b) Type "ren bakold.cfg *.old" and press ENTER.
7) Reboot the machine; the user interface will be in German.
8) If you don't want another language than German, find the entry "Sprache" (or use your paper from
step 1) and set the language to Chinese or English, etc.
9) The problem should be solved now.
