Question:		When trying to do a scan setup, the software closes without any error code. I don't have English or German Windows regional and language options.
Answer:		This problem can appear in some cases if the regional and language options differ from the most frequently set English or German options. Please check the regional and language options: Not only the set language is important, but also the settings for decimal symbol, number of decimal places, grouping symbol, negative sign, negative number format, display of leading zeroes, list separator, measurement system etc. To open this menu, click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages / Details. Please choose the same settings as in the example below which is from a PC on which ES-SCAN works: (The Windows example below is in German; the text above uses the terminology of the English Windows version.)
