NRPZ-K1: Registration with the License Manager

Question:

The Rohde & Schwarz License Manager in GLORIS allows customers to register their NRP power heads online. What ID number has to be used in the License Manager?

Answer:

To activate an R&S^ŽRP-Zxx power sensor, you have to use the device ID from the NRPV software, the serial number of the sensor and the checksum (e.g. 1417.0009K02-100001-ik)
and NOT the ID number of the power head being used (for example R&S^ŽNRP-Z21 / 1137.6000.02).

You get the complete device ID when you connect the unregistered sensor to the PC and launch the NRPV software.
