SMC100A: GPIB emulation mode for SML			FAQ overview
Question:		I used the SML in my system. The SML was controlled by GPIB. Now, I will change to the SMC100A. Can I make my measurements with the SMC without changing my software or driver settings?
Answer:		Yes, you can. The SMC is able to emulate the SML besides other legacy instruments. Please open the following menu in the SMC: SETUP => REMOTE => GPIB . In this menu, you can set the GPIB address. In addition, please set Language to "SCPI" and Instrument to "SML".
