Previously, NI-VISA was installed in the path:
C:\VXIPNP
Starting with NI-VISA version 4.2, the installation path is:
C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\VISA
All Rohde & Schwarz instrument drivers use the NI-VISA installation path. Previously, the installation path
for the Rohde & Schwarz instrument drivers in line with the NI-VISA installation was:
C:\VXIPNP
More recent Rohde & Schwarz instrument drivers use the following path:
C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\VISA
If a new Rohde & Schwarz instrument driver is installed and the old path (C:\VXIPNP) is already being used,
the driver will be installed in C:\VXIPNP.
The installation behavior of the Rohde & Schwarz drivers was changed in line with the new VISA installation procedure.
Starting with NI-VISA 4.2, the installation path is C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\VISA.
Upgrades for previous versions of NI-VISA use the old installation directory. |
