In a quiet revolution already today cordless telephones have made many home telephones mobile. But the practical range of today's CT1 + cordless telephones is still limited. On the other hand the new European standard DECT opens prospects for typical cellular features which up to now were restricted to real mobile telephone systems only. Applications like wide-band data services oder WLL (wireless local loop) extend the utilisation drastically.
This one-day seminar presents the available standards according to their benefits and from a technical point of view, where the DECT standard is the main focus.
