Abstract of the case study 2010 " Move up to the next level! "
DVB-T is a worldwide success – with 80 million receivers in operation. Yet the standard is reaching its limits and the next generation of digital broadcasting, DVB-T2, is already at the starting gate.
Now it's up to you! Working in a team, develop a concept that will convince customers of the DVB-T2 standard. Demonstrate that you consider not only the concept's technical aspects but also its economic efficiency.

The preliminary rounds will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The participating students will meet directly at the Rohde & Schwarz office in Singapore, where they will be assigned a study question involving a technical topic (such as mobile radio). Working in teams, they will immediately start to analyze the question and develop a solution. The solution will then be presented before a jury composed of a professor at the university, an engineer from Rohde & Schwarz, and an HR manager.
