Next generation 77/79 GHz radar sensors with high spatial resolution are a key element for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. In order to meet the high accuracy requirements for distance measurements, the sensors must be precisely measured and calibrated.

On display:

  • State-of-the-art test system for 77/79 GHz radar sensors consisting of an anechoic chamber with compact antenna test range (CATR) reflector and integrated radar target simulator. The system provides high-speed, high-precision measurements on a compact 1.3 m² footprint.
  • Phase-coherent measurement of MIMO radar sensor signals at 77/79 GHz with up to 16 GHz measurement bandwidth using an oscilloscope.

Automotive connectivity test solutions

It is becoming increasingly important for vehicles to wirelessly connect with entities in their surroundings. From remote keyless entry (RKE) systems to vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications, the demands on vehicle manufacturers continue to grow. In addition to functional aspects, safety-relevant aspects play a major role and need to be thoroughly tested in development, during acceptance and in production.

  • C-V2X signaling solution designed to configure and run traffic scenarios with a graphical user interface to test the application layer of 3GPP Rel. 14 ECUs.
  • Powerful and scalable test platform for over-the-air (OTA) testing of IEEE 802.15.4z ultrawideband (UWB) signals for keyless entry systems.
Domain controller testing

Domain controller testing

Developments in advanced driver assistance systems are creating a new approach to in-vehicle network architecture design. The automotive industry is now focusing on a domain or zonal controller architecture providing capabilities for high-speed communications, sensor fusion and decision-making. Signal integrity tests and debugging on high-speed domain controller interfaces require an oscilloscope with up to 16 GHz acquisition bandwidth.

  • Signal integrity analysis and debugging with highest acquisition rate and real-time deembedding for SerDes, LVDS, PCIe Gen 3.0, MIPI, automotive Ethernet and more.

Battery management system testing

As the need to supply power to electrical consumers in vehicles continues to grow, battery management systems become increasingly important. The diverse charging and battery systems call for a modular test concept that can be flexibly adapted to requirements.

  • Simulation and control of single battery cells with multiple power supplies for BMS testing, including predefined battery models and real-time monitoring of battery cell parameters.
