Das Electronic Communications Office of Iceland (ECOI) hat Rohde & Schwarz Mobile Network Testing ausgewählt, um die Performance, Abdeckung und Kapazität der drei isländischen Mobilfunknetzbetreiber zu bewerten und zu vergleichen. Das übergeordnete Ziel dieser Kampagne ist, vor dem Hintergrund der schwierigen geografischen und klimatischen Bedingungen der Insel die Servicequalität (QoS) und die Erlebnisqualität (QoE) für die Endnutzer in Island zu verbessern. Das ECOI hat Rohde & Schwarz Network Analytics Services mit der Durchführung einer Benchmarking-Kampagne beauftragt, die auf einem international standardisierten, transparenten Prozess gemäß des Europäischen Instituts für Telekommunikationsnormen (ETSI) basiert.
