Legal and Commercial Contract Management

Your tasks

Draft, prepare, and vet commercial and government contracts, including risk management, commercial management and compliance to corporate guidelines (such as supply contracts, procurement contracts, offer, MOU, NDA, service and license agreements)
Negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers and affiliated companies
Project Bid Support: Vet bidding document and compile required commercial documents in bid submission
Support legal, company secretarial, commercial and financial matters / functions / topics of the company
Prepare business presentation on commercial topics as required
Collaborate with Rohde & Schwarz German headquarters to ensure alignment of commercial and legal policies
Provide legal and commercial support to affiliated companies in APAC

Your qualifications

Law degree or equivalent professional qualifications from an accredited law school/university
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience preferably in law or contract management
Good knowledge of commercial law (especially contract law) in application and international trade law and practices in general
Prior experience of face-to-face negotiations with customers or suppliers will be advantageous
Strong business acumen, vocal, able to articulate commercial message to counterparts of different jurisdictions and a good team player
IT savvy (Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet tools)
Willingness to travel in the APAC region and to our German headquarters
English and Chinese reading and writing skills is essential to be able to communicate with associates and customers
Knowledge of German Language is an added advantage, so as to be able to communicate with German associates and customers
