Services : Project Engineer (Technology Systems)

Your tasks

• Position: Project Engineer The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting our product to resolve our customers' technical issues. You will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. Your ability to work in complex networking environment will also make you an ideal candidate. Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Responsible for installation of system as per system design
• Responsible for configuration of system
• Responsible for upgradation of firmware/ software
• Carry out pre-acceptance test procedures on systems prior to delivery
• Site surveys and preparation of its reports
• On site testing, repair/ maintenance of equipment and systems during warranty period
• Liaison with customers for system related activity
• Contribute in pre- design review meetings with the sales & customer
• Able to write technical documents under supervision

Your qualifications

• Have worked / Operated VHF/ HF Systems
• Have worked on EW Systems
• Degree in Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic, Network or Communication technology, or a comparable field
• Knowledge of satellite and GSM communication will be an advantage
• 3+ years of technical support experience
• Customer service oriented
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Driven for results and highly oriented to teamwork and group collaboration
• Proven experience in leading a team of skilled individuals
• Working knowledge of project management tools & techniques with good grasp of organizational structures
• Great social and networking skills
• Resourceful, proactive, and independent
• Effective ability to work with people of different levels to address issues and to attend amicable solutions
• Exposure in project management and project management methodologies
• Exposure to procurement and sourcing of technical goods and services
• Is prepared to travel and be on the road for extended periods overseeing and driving project successes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent English is primary to round off your profile
