Reiner is a technology manager wireless from the Test & Measurement Division of Rohde & Schwarz in Munich. Before that, he worked as a trainer and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and promoting mobile communication technologies in the background of cellular standards and non-cellular technologies. He is involved in several projects concerning 5G, 5G advanced, and 6G research activities. Reiner has published several technical documents and webinars. He is one of the authors of the R&S technology book “5G New Radio – fundamentals, procedures, testing aspects”. He holds an academic degree in engineering in telecommunications issued by the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.

Mahesh Basavaraju is a Market Segment Manager, responsible for driving R&S market position for the Wireless Communication segment at Rohde & Schwarz. He is responsible for analyzing the current market and competitive situation as well as developing and implementing market and product strategy. He focuses on both cellular and non-cellular technologies and is active in conferences and workshops in the Asian region. Mahesh has over 18 years of experience in T&M and has previously served as an R&D Engineer at Nokia. His experience in working on both mobile device and network equipment testing has contributed to his comprehensive understanding of the wireless industry. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Visveswaraya Technological University in India.

Liangjie serves as the Global Sales Director for Wireless Communication at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich, where she has been an integral part of the sales organization for over 17 years. With nearly a decade of experience in Global Key Account Management for Wireless Industry, she oversees the entire Wireless Communication industry's eco-chain, from early-stage research, chipset and device development, to verification, certification, and final production. This has given her a comprehensive understanding and in-depth knowledge of the Wireless Eco-Chain, and how all the components interact with each other

Ashraff has over 18 years of experience in the Test and Measurement industry. Currently in Rohde & Schwarz, he takes care of Product Application support and solutions to customers in the Malaysia, specifically in the northern region. Earlier in his career, he was in Manufacturing and R&D of complex RF micro-circuits and electro-mechanical transmission lines that require multidisciplinary solutions. Ashraff graduated from University Teknologi Malaysia with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Telecommunications.

Ir Dr Bernard, COO and co-founder of Appscard Group AS and Appscard Global Research & Innovation Center, brings over 28 years of senior management experience in manufacturing and co-founding tech startups. Bernard is a Professional Engineer, an honorary member of AFEO, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers in Malaysia. He is currently the Chair-elect of IEEE Malaysia, permanent member of the technical committee on Innovation Management (NSC Y/TC11), and Chair of IEEE Region 10's Ad hoc Committee of Industry Engagement and Roundtable. Bernard actively advises international and national engineering and tech associations on topics including innovation management, skill development, and material engineering.

Zhariff Asri is a System and Application Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz Malaysia. Currently, at Rohde & Schwarz, he oversees product application support and provides solutions to customers in Malaysia. Earlier in his career, he worked in R&D for radio communication products, with a focus on the transmitter section. Zhariff graduated from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, majoring in Telecommunications.

Nor Azlan is a Senior Field Application Engineer at Wurth Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Previously, he served as an EMC Design Engineer and a Compliance Engineer at Sony Malaysia. Azlan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UTeM, Malaysia and has been a certified iNarte EMC Engineer since July 2014.

Head of 5G Product Development

Anwar is the Head of 5G Product Development for Telekom Malaysia where he leads the End to End roadmap development for Telekom Malaysia (TM) 5G Core as a Service, which include Network Slicing, 5G Standalone capable solutions and related 5G Value Added Services. Prior to Telekom Malaysia, he has worked in Rohde & Schwarz, Agilent Technologies, Motorola Solutions and Intel Malaysia, either in manufacturing or field application positions. He is also an active member of IEEE, National 5G Taskforce and the Spectrum Working Group.

Lab Manager and Senior Lecturer
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Dr Yap works on quantum computers based on electron spin and superconducting qubit. His setup runs at very low temperatures that is colder than outerspace and his expertise is on the microwave control system that is used to control the qubits. He helps to develop the control system operating between 8 - 140 GHz systems in the Centre for Quantum Technologies, Singapore and The Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology, Japan. He is currently a senior lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and is an invited researcher at the CQT and QIQB.
