WCDMA/HSPA+ signal generation

These digital standard options provide WCDMA/HSPA+ signal generation capabilities in line with 3GPP FDD Rel. 11. This includes all physical channels of 3GPP FDD, HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+.  All signals are generated either as a combination of the real-time and ARB modes or in ARB mode only (WinIQSIM2™).
Various test models and predefined settings are available to simplify signal generation as far as possible. Furthermore, a test case wizard ensures the easy setup of base station conformance tests. Various graphical displays and setting assistants also support fast and convenient signal configuration.

Support of all physical channels

All WCDMA 3GPP FDD, HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+ physical channels are supported. This allows the simulation of up to:

  • Four base stations (BS) with up to 128 code channels each
  • Four configurable mobile stations (MS) and up to 128 additional MS with identical configuration in parallel

Perfect for BER and BLER measurements

In downlink mode, the P-CCPCH and up to three DPCH can be generated in real time. In uplink mode, real-time simulation is supported for DPCCH and one DPDCH of one mobile station. This allows a 3GPP conformant continuous measurement of BER and BLER in a code channel with PN data. Furthermore, bit and block error rate insertion is supported, enabling the verification of the  base station internal BER/BLER calculations.

Test case wizard for easy setup of BS tests

The test case wizard supports the configuration of test signals in line with 3GPP TS 25.141 for base station conformance tests. It offers a selection of predefined settings for wanted and interfering signals based on the defined test cases.

Quick signal configuration

The predefined settings assistant allows quick signal generation for testing amplifiers and other components.
Downlink test models in line with 3GPP TS 25.141 are provided as predefined settings:

  • Test model 1 with 4/8/16/32/64 DPCH
  • Test model 2
  • Test model 3 with 4/8/16/32 DPCH
  • Test model 4
  • Test model 5 with 8/4/2 HS-PDSCH (in case of 4 HS-PDSCH with 4 or 14 DPCH)
  • Test model 6 with 8/4 HS-PDSCH

Graphical signal evaluation

Various graphical displays support fast and easy signal configuration/evaluation:

  • Code domain display with domain conflict indication
  • Channel graph
  • Graphical signal monitoring in real time (I and Q vs. time, frequency spectrum, vector diagram, CCDF and more), including marker functions

Support of HSPA and HSPA+ physical channels

Simulation of HSUPA and HSDPA physical channels, including HSPA+ features:

  • HSDPA H-Sets 1 to 12 with channel coding and user-editable H-Set configurations
  • MIMO support including HSDPA MIMO precoding and HS-DPCCH signaling for user equipment
  • HSUPA fixed reference channels (FRC) 1 to 8 with channel coding and HARQ feedback simulation
  • Higher order modulation schemes, 64QAM in downlink and 4PAM in uplink
  • Continuous packet connectivity (CPC)

Tailored for BS/MS tests

Several other functions are needed for 3GPP standard conformant/compliant test setups:

  • Dynamic power control support in real-time mode for up to three DPCH in downlink and one mobile station in uplink are essential for RX tests that need closed-loop power control.
  • In the uplink, the output of the FRC HARQ processes can be controlled in real time using a feedback line from the DUT to allow base station performance tests in line with 3GPP TS 25.141.

Termos e condições do sorteio de prêmios: 10 anos dos osciloscópios da Rohde & Schwarz

1. O sorteio de prêmios “10 anos dos osciloscópios da Rohde & Schwarz” (no presente, referido como “Sorteio”) é organizado pela Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Mühldorfstraße 15, 81671 Munique, Alemanha, tel. +49 89 41 29 0 (doravante referida como “R&S”).

2. Todos os participantes podem se inscrever durante o período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020, informando seu nome, nome da empresa e e-mail comercial.

3. A participação é gratuita e não depende da compra de mercadorias ou serviços.

4. O sorteio está aberto somente a pessoas jurídicas e apenas às pessoas jurídicas que possam ganhar os prêmios. Pessoas físicas não poderão participar em nome e interesse próprios, mas como representantes de uma pessoa jurídica, devendo preencher a ficha de participação em nome e segundo o interesse da pessoa jurídica.

5. Os prêmios a serem entregues são 1 de 10 R&S®RTB2000, no período de 1º de janeiro de 2020 a 31 de dezembro de 2020:

6. O sorteio ocorrerá na sede da R&S, em Munique, à Muehldorstrasse 15, 81671. O ganhador dos prêmios será avisado por e-mail no prazo de cinco (5) dias úteis.

7. O representante autorizado da pessoa jurídica informará à R&S sobre a aceitação do preço. Caso a aceitação seja negada ou se não houver resposta em até duas (2) semanas, um novo ganhador será sorteado. Se não for possível definir um ganhador no prazo de quatro (4) semanas, o sorteio se encerrará e o prêmio prescreverá.

8. Aos funcionários da R&S e seus familiares, bem como às pessoas familiarizadas com o processo do sorteio e seus familiares, é vetado o preenchimento da ficha de participação.

9. Não são permitidos equivalente em dinheiro ou troca de prêmios. Os prêmios são intransferíveis. Todos os impostos, tributos, encargos, taxas e outras cobranças tributáveis no país do participante serão arcadas pelo participante.

10. Dados pessoais somente serão processados para os fins deste sorteio e excluídos quatro (4) semanas após o sorteio, se não acordado de outro modo.

11. O participante que não cumprir os presentes Termos e Condições estará sujeito à desclassificação pela R&S da participação neste concurso. Neste caso, os prêmios também poderão ser retirados retroativamente. Se um prêmio estiver sujeito à retirada retrospectiva por motivo de incumprimento dos presentes Termos e Condições, ele deverá ser devolvido pelo respectivo participante, às suas expensas, para o endereço da R&S mencionado na disposição N.1, e um novo ganhador será sorteado.

12. Os participantes não podem reivindicar os prêmios do sorteio e não são autorizados recursos legais neste sentido.

13. O sorteio e a relação contratual decorrente, entre a R&S e o respectivo participante, serão regidos e interpretados de acordo com as leis da Alemanha, sem dar efeito ao princípio do conflito de leis. Os tribunais de Munique, Alemanha, gozarão de jurisdição exclusiva em caso de disputa decorrente, direta ou indiretamente, da participação neste concurso.
