Systems Engineering Manager - Frederick, MD

Your tasks

• Manage and lead a high functioning systems engineering team across multiple product segments
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Program Management, and Production
• Align Sale opportunities with engineering support priorities
• Manage the presales, design, integration, and deployment systems / subsystems for R&S Spectrum Monitoring, Mobile Network Testing and IP Analysis)
• Lead efforts for creating and maintaining technical documentation according to customer requirements.
• Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content.
• Prepare regular reports on project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
• Participate in communication with customers and R&S product design team.
• Work closely with the product engineering teams based in Europe and North America.

Your qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree.
• Background in RF, spectrum monitoring, and spectrum analysis
• Experience with systems for critical infrastructure customers.
• Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Experience with requirement management processes and tools.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Good communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%.
• In order to be considered, candidates must be a US citizen capable of receiving a US Government security clearance.

The total compensation for this position is $165K-$215K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
