Tasks

Develop expertise in oscilloscopes, precision power analyzers and other test and measurement instruments.
Performing technical and application support for related oscilloscope and precision power analyzer.
Provide related regional product application support including technical support hotline, customer visits & regional training
Develop and conduct internal and customer training / seminars
Help Sales, the Application team and Business Development team in the region to bridge application knowledge and adapt product into market-oriented solutions for the region
Work closely with Global Marketing and Business Development to create application and sales content to support sales force
Develop product applications & generate application notes / sheets to broadcast usage models that could benefit internal team and customers
Analyze and provide customized solutions, including customized software, for customers to be able to operate and integrate our product to their purposes
Liaise with R&D & Product Managers to review product and its roadmap to ensure product market acceptance
Verify product issues reported by Sales & Application Team across the region. Duplicate and escalate FW & design issues if not readily solvable
Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field of studies
Minimum 5 years in power electronics or embedded hardware design, validation or test, or as an application or field engineer in test and measurement.
Confident hands-on with oscilloscopes and probing (differential, current, isolated), power analyzers, electronic loads and DC sources and other oscilloscope related applications (eg. high speed digital standards, SerDes, signal integrity, jitter, BER, etc)
Solid fundamentals in switched-mode power supplies, inverters and motor drives, and in SiC and GaN switching behavior and other power related applications (eg. Multi-phase power, power efficiency, etc)
Working knowledge of instrument automation: SCPI and VISA with Python or a similar language.
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DCA, BERT, and precision power analyzer will be an advantage.
Knowledge of IEEE, MIPI, PCI-SIG, JEDEC, Ethernet, and any other high speed digital standards will be an advantage.
Ability to feedback product issue to German Headquarters and higher management
Experienced in working across APAC countries, and comfortable in dealing with foreign languages and cultures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good customer interfacing skills & presentation skills
Team player and able to work independently when required
Willingness to travel
Willingness to learn new related technology and applications
