TSEMF-Bx isotropic antenna is not detected by the FSH4/FSH8

Question

A TSEMF-Bx isotropic antenna is connected to the FSH4/FSH8, but the display does not show Isotropic Mode.

Answer

Auto detection of isotropic antennas is not possible. Isotropic Mode can only be selected by activating the isotropic antenna in the FSH menu and selecting the corresponding transducers.

Deactivate Auto Accessory Detection:

SETUP

Auto Accessory Detection

==> OFF

Select one of the TSEMF transducers (type isotrd):

AMPT

Transducer

Select Primary Transducer

e.g. TSEMF-B1

Now you can activate the isotropic antenna:

MEAS

F1

Meas Mode List

==> Select Isotropic Antenna

Note: The FSH4/8 firmware includes typical transducer sets for the TSEMF-Bx isotropic antennas. The individual antenna factors delivered with the antenna have to be transferred to the FSH using the FSH4View software.
