NPR Measurements

NPR is core measurement within the satellite industry used to measure the linearity of an active component or full transmission path or channel within a satellite communication link. NPR can be thought of as a more application appropriate version of the traditional two tone intermodulation measurement. With R&S instruments like the R&S®SMW200A and the R&S®FSW realistic NPR measurements can be performed by using modulated signals.
