What is the function of "Resolve pool link" in the calibration manager?

Question

What is the function of "Resolve pool link" in the calibration manager?

Answer

If you apply a calibration from the calibration pool to a channel, it is still coupled to the calibration data in the calibration pool.

This means that if you change the calibration data in the channel with, for example, 'Repeat Previous Calibration', you also change the calibration data in the calibration pool.

If you 'Resolve pool link', you uncouple the calibration data in the channel from the data in the calibration pool. You then have two separate sets of calibration data and you can change the calibration data in the channel without changing the calibration data in the calibration pool.
