RELEASE NOTES: R&S®Cloud Protector version 1.10, discover the new features

R&S®Cloud Protector is a Web Application Firewall As a Service, a simple DNS change and your website is protected from the attacks of the top 10 OWASP. Today Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity is proud to present you the news features of R&S®Cloud Protector version 1.10:

Country Blacklisting: R&S®Cloud Protector now integrates a GeoIP database, allowing to restrict access to your website for specified countries or continents.

IP Reputation: R&S®Cloud Protector now integrates the IP Reputation service (from an intelligence feed provided by Webroot) bringing up-to-date, actionable threat intelligence to R&S®Cloud Protector administrators. The IP Reputation Service – seamlessly integrated in R&S®Cloud Protector – delivers up-to-date and accurate categorization for over 12 million dangerous IP addresses in near real-time.

Website unavailability monitoring: when a website (protected by R&S®Cloud Protector) is unavailable, R&S®Cloud Protector now displays a specific error page (see image below) and sends an alert to the administrator that the website cannot be reached, allowing to quickly identify the unavailability cause and react.

Humans are never blocked: because allowing traffic from real humans is the most important thing for your business, R&S®Cloud Protector now provides a specific mode allowing humans to continue to crawl the website even if they were blocked by R&S®Cloud Protector’s protection. When R&S®Cloud Protector triggers a blocking page, human users can be asked to fill a reCAPTCHA challenge to bypass the blocking page and continue their crawl. An alert is still recorded to let administrators handle the false positive afterwards.

Enjoy these new features and test for free R&S®Cloud Protector for 14 days.
