Material Management and Logistics : SCM Manager

Your tasks

• Evaluate business structure and capabilities of processes for a synchronized solution.
• Develop and spearhead SCM initiatives to improve Plan, Buy, Make programs.
• Setting up of new processes and agreements with third party logistics partners.
• Review demand and supply planning systems and create a collaborative end-to-end solution.
• Ensure the efficient and effective distribution operations & work place safety in the internal warehouse.
• Functionally responsible for processes and resources of production scheduling.
• Lead SC teams in ensuring daily functional effectiveness and problem resolutions.
• Ensure the warehouse adhere to health and safety policies stipulated by both governmental and R&S.
• Be the focal point to drive immediate responses and countermeasures on any unforeseen circumstances.
• Oversee the handling of custom application and compliance
• Drive the planning and countermeasure in supply chain risks.
• Establish and maintain performance matric and standards that monitor clearly the health of the overall supply chain activities in a transparent manner.
• Measure and implement action plans to ensure cost-effective and efficient SC processes.
• Establish and maintain Work Instructions and procedures in supply chain topics.
• Ensure compliance to custom process & handling.
• Key subject matter expert / key user interface on purchasing and logistics in manufacturing - to interface with key stakeholders and global counterparts in Munich HQ.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and HQ on analysis and developing strategies on Make and Buy decisions.
• Strategize and implement training programs to enhance job skills and development of personnel.
• Planning staff's development to ensure a team of highly motivated employees.
• Responsible for the optimization of logistical performance by defining and monitoring of measures in collaboration with various stake holders.
• Support management in company presentations and highlighting of supply chain topics.

Your qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, SCM, Business or equivalent.
• Experience in Electronics industry or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years in one of SCM leadership functions.
• Knowledge & experience of regional or global supply chain strategies and operations.
• Experience in implementation of SCM related projects.
• Demonstrated practical experience in the implementation of Lean or other methodologies.
• Knowledge of ERP system and applications, preferably in SAP.
• Knowledge of analytical reporting tools and business intelligence reporting system.
• Ability to analyze complex processes and data to determine trends and deviations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence.
• Experience in operating and adhering to requirements of LMW license.
• Knowledge of product introduction and BOM structure handling.
