Subject

Manufacturers of radio equipment must declare compliance with the FCC code of federal regulations (title 47) in order to place their products on the US market.

§ 15.247 covers the requirements of radio equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz ISM bands. The requirements for WLAN equipment operating in 5 GHz band are defined in § 15.407. For radiated emissions both regulations refer to §15.205 and § 15.209. The R&S®TS8997 test system meets the requirements for automated testing derived from these regulations.

This seminar explains the test procedures, the necessary parameters and the limits according to the latest release of the FCC § 15.247 and FCC § 15.407 regulations. The operation of R&S®TS8997 will be demonstrated and selected tests will be performed.
