The R&S^®SMW-K47 option generates signals for 1xEV-DO (Rev. A) in line with the 3GPP2 C.S0024-A 3.0 standard. 1xEV-DO stands for CDMA2000^® 1x Evolution Data Only mode and is an enhanced version of the 1x mode of CDMA2000^®, the North American standard for the third mobile radio generation (3G). This enhanced version of the CDMA2000^® standard allows packet-oriented data transmission at a data rate of up to 2.4 Mbps in the 1.25 MHz-wide CDMA2000^® 1x channel.
