Your tasks

  • Work closely with sales management and the service team to drive sales and increase business for our service products
  • Provide support, training and development of the national sales team on the R&S service product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, the Service Team, Product Marketing and Industry Segment Managers to develop and drive our Service Sales Strategy
  • Serve as the primary Sales POC for large service sales contracts and SLAs
  • Service ‘expert’ for Sales, first point of contact for support regarding sales of Service Products (SLAs, Service Contracts, Custom Service offerings tailored to specific customer requirements)
  • Interface with the Global Service Sales Team in Munich on current as well as new product development and the implementation of the overall service strategy
  • Maintain and drive the national service sales funnel
  • Regularly attend field customer visits to understand customer service and support requirements
  • Review, update and create all service support processes including both pre and post sales activities

Your qualifications

  • 5+ years of combined technical and service sales experience (SLAs, Service contracts, Customer specific service offerings - RF/Test and Measurement experience is a plus)
  • Experience selling SLAs (Service Level agreements, Service
  • BSEE (or equivalent)
  • Must be a US citizen
  • A strong team player who is creative, goal oriented and customer focused.
  • An understanding of trending electronic industry technologies, standards and applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has the ability to travel regularly within the US and Canada in addition to some international travel
  • Embraces and thrives in an environment of change, especially with respect to new technology such as emerging communication and collaboration tools
  • Brings innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills to all situations

This is a full-time position with a total compensation target salary (base + commission) range of $137k-230k plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
