In this manager role you will be responsible for the technical management of the calibration laboratory. Operation of the laboratory according to the requirements of the EN IEC/ISO 17025 standard and accreditation requirements. Follow to the processes and procedures of the management system in order to maintain and expand the accredited status to achieve the goals set out in the company's quality policy.

Your tasks

As disciplinary line manager coordinate, develop, inspire and supervise the Service Technical team of about 10 people (human resource and test system planning)
Responsible for Onsite, Depot calibrations, repairs and System Services of RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments and systems to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz’ high standards of performance (TAT, OTD, SLA KPIs, scope and quality) and customer requirements
Strengthening of the metrological competence of the laboratory especially for EMC measurement technology and Onsite calibrations (human resources and equipment investments)
Group-wide cooperation with Internal and External stakeholders and Rohde & Schwarz laboratories on in the field of RF measurement technology and metrology
Technical communication of external customers
Preparation and implementation of internal training courses for R&S technicians
Continuous improvement of the technical team and processes and procedures
Giving local technical support for the preparation and implementation of DAkkS multisite Accreditation project

Your qualifications

Diploma/Master Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication with at least 5 years' experience in a calibration laboratory or comparable experiences
Experience working with test equipment- including spectrum analyzers, signal generators and oscilloscopes along with a strong understanding of RF and microwave measurement applications
Preferred experience in an of EN ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and measurement uncertainty analysis
Effective communication skills in Hungarian and English with customers in a professional business environment
Excellent communication, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of technical and administrative business processes, driven by results and a high service orientation
Willingness to travel up to 20% regionally and occasionally internationally, with the ability to lead projects at customer sites.
Customer orientation, focus on continuous improvement of quality and processes
