Your tasks

Design, implementation, and testing of software for a VoIP system.
Create, refine, and review software requirements and test cases using system requirements.
Integrate software with hardware and perform debugging and troubleshooting.
Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews.
Document and present software design and architecture.
Interface with system and test engineers to ensure compliance with requirements and test cases.
Interface with internal and external customers on problem reports and resolutions.
Train and mentor other software engineers in the team.

Your qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Proven ability to understand, design, code, integrate, and debug complex software systems.
Experience in software development for safety critical applications (medical, automotive, aerospace, or defense)
Excellence in programming with C/C++ is required.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, configuration management, and quality assurance.
Knowledge of DO-178, DO-278, or other aerospace software standards is desired.
Experience with VoIP protocols (SIP/RTP) is desired.
Knowledge of Linux operating systems is desired.
Occasional travel to U.S. and international locations.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English.
US citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance.

This is a full-time position with a total compensation target salary range of $132K-185K plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, and job-related skills.
