Rohde Schwarz Israel, an international company is seeking an experienced Accountant for a diverse role involving responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations, invoice processing, customer collections, and ongoing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in Israel and abroad.
The role also offers the potential to expand responsibilities into payroll in the future, based on the company's needs.
position located in Rishon Le-Zion.
Your tasks
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities through trial balance.
• Issue customer invoices.
• Handle customer collections and monitor outstanding balances.
• Manage local suppliers.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare payments and bank transfers.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to Israeli authorities (VAT, Income Tax, and National Insurance).
• Prepare documentation for audits and external accountants.
• Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders abroad, including correspondence and reporting in English.
• Collaborate with internal and external interfaces across the organization.

Your qualifications
• Bookkeeping Certificate (Type 2 minimum; Type 3 is an advantage).
• Certified Payroll Accountant qualification – mandatory.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience – mandatory.
• Experience in customer invoicing and collections – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with SAP – mandatory (SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC/R3; SAP Business One (SAP B1) is not relevant).
• Fluent English (written, spoken, and reading) – mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy, organization, responsibility, discretion, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
