ZBA: Define the VNA as true differential signal generator

Question

I want to use my ZNA as true differential signal generator for a constant CW signal.

Answer

• Define a balanced port and switch True Differential on.
• Change the sweep type to Time.
• Set frequency and power.
• Change to Single Sweep.

The VNA will keep the generator on after the sweep and so you have a true differential signal generator with a constant CW signal.
