This role reports to the Managing Director RSASIA

Your tasks

Lead multi-national R&D teams for product and technology development
Foster strong collaboration and alignment between R&D labs with local and international stakeholders, such as business units, regional sales teams, and global product & corporate R&D divisions
Be responsible for R&D labs engaged in Software Development and Platform Technologies, including software applications for radio communication tester and oscilloscope, test platform development for in-house production and service, common product construction.
Manage product and technology implementation milestones and budget, including support from internal and external interfaces such as manufacturing, product management and centers of competence, to ensure profitability and effective time-to-market
Develop engineering talent to deepen and/or broaden their knowledge and skills

Your qualifications

Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable disciplines
Qualified professional experience in the field of test and measurement and other related technologies for telecommunication
At least 5 years of experience leading R&D teams
Proven record of successful collaboration among multi-site and multi-national teams
Knowledge of market environment, customer needs, technologies and features of competing devices
Prior P&L responsibility preferred
Willingness to initiate and drive change
Familiar with Agile development methodologies
Excellent verbal and written English language skills; conversational skills in German will be a plus
