Brief Description

The 6240B is a DC voltage/current source/monitor enabling high-speed response pulse source and measurement capabilities up to ± 15V at ± 1A (max. 4A @ 20ms pulses). By its implemented low-resistance measurement function it can cancel thermal EMF (electromotive force) as a presupposition for precise connector or low-resistance conductive material measurements. Besides of its high resolution (10 µV / 1 nA in sourcing, 1 µV / 100 pA in measurement) it is equipped with various types of sweep and pulse sweep functions. Its comfortable synchronization possibilities with multiple units or other instruments makes it perfect for system use in electronic component test systems.
