Your tasks:

  • Responsible to meet, grow our service business in ASP - Asia South & Pacific South region (JP, KR, IN, ASEAN, AU, NZ) by promoting value of services to customers
  • Responsible for crafting service sales plans, maximizing service revenue and promoting them to customers and / or country service teams in ASP
  • As an individual contributor, also be a solution expert working closely with the service teams in ASP and drive opportunities to develop and grow the service business in partnership with ASP and Munich service teams
  • Drive service growth in ASP region by generating opportunities to grow service sales for Test & Measurement products, maximize service agreements contract attach rate at point of instrument sales, optimize contract conversion after warranty and renewals
  • Enabling sales force by crafting service proposal and be successful especially in global / regional key accounts
  • Promote service offerings internally (country service teams) and externally (customers), coach and ensure ownership of service offering by sales representatives
  • Achieve service growth targets by successfully setting objectives for service revenues and partnering with country service teams
  • Build and promote customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify market opportunities while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Ensure strong alignment between customer expectations, the service promise and our capacity to deliver, support delivery capability enhancement
  • Work closely with ASP and Munich service teams, communicate and foster relationships with them and to achieve results
  • Provides monthly forecasts and summaries in a timely manner. Participates in the preparation of analysis and reports on service sales performance

Your qualifications:

  • University Degree in Engineering or related field with broad experience in Service Sales
  • At least 10 years of experience in service sales, service operations, project sales or related experience
  • Ability to lead teams without direct reporting relationship
  • Entrepreneurial - excels at “discovering” the business needs of customers and creating new solutions
  • Excellent planning, problem solving, organization, analytical and issue resolution skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, managers, staff, customers and vendors
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
