Software Development : Architect/Tech Lead Distributed Systems Application Software (m/w/d) im Rahmen der Arbeitnehmerüberlassung befristet auf 24 Monate

Aufgaben

• You own the technical vision and architecture: you define clear architectural principles, design guidelines, and the technical direction for your team’s product domain. You ensure alignment with the long-term business and technical strategy
• You make architecture decisions: you evaluate design trade-offs, select appropriate technologies and frameworks, and make final calls on technical direction. You document decisions and communicate the reasoning clearly to your team and stakeholders
• You ensure code quality and standards: you establish and enforce code quality standards, design patterns, and best practices. You participate in architectural reviews and code reviews and guide your team toward continuous technical improvement
• You drive technology scouting & evaluation: you stay current with emerging frameworks, tools, and technologies. You evaluate new approaches for relevance to your domain and make recommendations based on business needs, team capability, and long-term sustainability
• You coach and mentor engineers: you actively develop your team members’ technical skills. You unblock technical challenges, answer design questions, and help junior engineers grow their expertise
• You collaborate across disciplines: you partner closely with the Product Owner (to understand scope and constraints), QA (to ensure testability), Requirements Engineers (for traceability and compliance), and other Architects/Tech Leads (to share technical synergies and standards)
• You identify and manage technical risks: you proactively identify technical risks (performance, security, scalability, compliance) and escalate them to the Product Owner and Project Lead for prioritization and mitigation
• You engage with external partners: you work with third-party development teams, infrastructure teams (DevOps), and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and deployment

Qualifikationen

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM field
• You bring several years of professional experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise in modern software architecture
• You have experience designing or evaluating complex system architectures (e.g., enterprise architectures, microservices, distributed systems)
• You have a proven track record of technical leadership within a team (not necessarily a formal title—your influence and respect matter)
• Deep Technical Expertise: You have strong knowledge of software design patterns, system architecture principles, scalability, performance, and security. You also have hands-on coding experience
• Systems Thinking: You are able to see the big picture—how architectural decisions ripple through a system and an organization. You are comfortable analyzing complex technical trade-offs
• Communication: You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and have strong writing and presentation skills
• Collaborative Mindset: You are comfortable working closely with Product Owners, QA, Requirements Engineers, and other architects. You influence through expertise and respect, not authority
• Continuous Learning: You proactively stay current with technology trends, are curious about new tools, patterns, and approaches, and are willing to experiment and iterate
• You have experience designing systems for defense, aerospace, medical devices, or other compliance-heavy domains
• You are familiar with traceability, verification/validation, and certification processes
• You are fluent in German and have professional English skills (written and spoken)
