EMC32-S: Error 2804 with meM-PIO USB device

Question

I have added the meM-PIO USB interlock device to the EMC32 device list. When I change from virtual mode to physical mode, EMC32 responds with error 2804.

The same happens when I add meM-PIO USB to the device list for EUT monitoring. When I change from virtual mode to physical mode, EMC32 responds with error 2804.

Answer

First, make sure that you have installed all neccessary drivers. On the EMC32 CD-ROM, in the folder .../SystemDrivers/MemPio/, you will find the following executable files:

install-drivers-4.4.455.exe

libad-actx-4.4.454.exe

You can also install the required drivers from the EMC32 'Driver Installer Tool' instead.

You must have admin rights for installation.

If this does not help, compare the serial numbers. The serial number on the General settings tab of the meM-PIO USB interlock device has to be the same as the number printed on the device.

Example:

EMC32-S: Error 2804 with meM-PIO USB device

The serial number highlighted above must be the same as the serial number on the device (shown below).
