GPIB sequence for performing the "normalization" calibration method

Question

I am looking for a GPIB sequence for performing the "normalization" calibration method with the R&S ZVL at port 1. For

calibration I want to use the SHORT from the R&S ZV-Z121 calibration kit. The calibration kit is already available on the R&S ZVL:

I need to include the calibration in a measurement automation program. Do you have an example?

Answer

Yes, it is possible to perform this measurement with GPIB commands. We recommend the following sequence:

ZVL: *RST

ZVL: SYSTEM:DISPAY:UPDATE ON

ZVL: INST:NSEL 2

ZVL: CALC:PAR:MEAS 'Trc1','S11'

ZVL: SENSE:CORRECTION:CKIT:N50:SELECT 'ZV-Z121'

ZVL: SENSE:CORRECTION:COLLECT:CONNECTION1 N50MALE

ZVL: SENSE:CORRECTION:COLLECT:METHOD:DEFINE 'TEST SFK NORM PORT1', RSHORT, 1

ZVL: SENSE:CORRECTION:COLLECT:ACQUIRE:SELECTED SHORT, 1

ZVL: SENSE:CORRECTION:COLLECT:SAVE:SELECTED
