NB-IoT module performance and testing

presented at GSMA MWC 2018

Test solutions from Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing enabling NB-IoT modules to be put through their paces prior to deployment and their performance to be verified once deployed were demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2018. A test network can be emulated using the R&S®CMW500 radio communication tester and then the operation of the module can be verified using an R&S®TSME scanning receiver connected to R&S®ROMES4 optimization software. Tests include RF performance measurements as well as deep insight in to the function of the module such as channel allocation and power efficiency.
