R&S®CA100 is a standalone software solution for detecting, classifying and processing radiocommunications signals. R&S®CA100 supports a wide spectrum of applications ranging from manual signal processing and analysis of an individual signal up to automatic recognition and processing of signals in a wideband signal scenario.

Automatic classification

When unknown signals are encountered, R&S®CA100 supports the user by providing a powerful classifier for automatic detection and recognition of modulation type and transmission system. When monitoring, the classifier supports recognition of known signal types or reports them as "unknown" results.

**System classification and visualization** - The powerful R&S®CA100 classifier for the HF and VHF/UHF frequency ranges can recognize the modulation type and transmission system.

High speed spectral shape search

The spectral shape detector is designed to search for known and unknown signals by performing spectral pattern matching. It is very fast and customizable, searching for signals of interest as specified by the user. The decisions of the matching algorithm are based on many criteria within a comprehensive decision matrix, which allows the reliable assessment of similarities between input signals and shape description sets.
