Finance Analyst
Reporting to Finance Manager, RSMEA
Location United Arab Emirates
Mobility
May be required to visit and support other offices in the MEA Region (Saudi, Qatar) and Germany.

Role purpose
We are seeking an ambitious Finance Analyst who combines sound accounting fundamentals with strong learning agility, ownership and the potential to grow into broader responsibilities. The role supports the financial operations of Middle East and Africa operations and legal entities managed from the hub in Dubai., and provides exposure to accounting, reporting, project costing, controls, business partnering and decision support.
While payments administration will represent a substantial part of the role, the successful candidate will be expected to understand the business and control implications behind each transaction, improve how work is done and progressively take ownership of accounting, reporting, project costing, controls and decision support.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
1.Payments, banking and expense administration (primary day-to-day focus)
1. Administer employee expense claims and related payments, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance and timely reimbursement.
2. Support monthly intercompany reporting and netting reconciliation, including accurate maintenance of records in systems.
3. Own the end-to-end preparation and processing of supplier, employee, intercompany and other approved payments, ensuring that each payment is accurate, properly authorized, supported by complete documentation and executed within the agreed timeline.
4. Validate payment requests against invoices, purchase orders, approvals, contractual terms, bank details, due dates and applicable company policies before release.
5. Prepare payment batches and upload or process transactions in the ERP system and relevant electronic banking platforms, maintaining clear segregation of duties and approval controls.
6. Perform bank account reconciliations and support the resolution of unmatched items, outstanding transactions and cash-book differences.
1. Accounting and month-end close
7. Accounting and posting of non-PO based cost/ expenses, including, travel, employees expense claim through SAP Concur review, commission cost, office expenses, freight cost, etc.
8. Support the month-end close through general-ledger reconciliations, schedules, accruals, analysis and PCR/ PL reporting.
2. Compliance and audit support
9. Prepare or support VAT returns for assigned countries and maintain the underlying documentation and reconciliations.
10. Support statutory and internal audits and liaise with auditors, authorities and internal stakeholders as required.
3. Business partnering and continuous improvement
11. Partners with Sales, Commercial, Projects, Service and other functions to clarify financial matters and provide responsive, practical support.
12. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize or automate finance processes, reporting and controls; take ownership from idea through implementation.
13. Preparation and reporting of monthly cashflow forecast.
14. Take on additional assignments and progressively broader responsibilities
Candidate Profile
Education and experience
15. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
16. Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit or controlling. Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered where evidence of exceptional capability and learning agility is strong.
17. Hands-on exposure to an ERP environment; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
18. Strong Excel capability, including confident use of lookups, pivot tables, logical formulas and data reconciliation. Exposure to Power Query, Power BI or finance automation is an advantage.
19. Progress toward ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, CMA (or an equivalent country-specific designation,such as but not limited to: AGA(SA), PA(SA), RA, CECCAR, SKwP, etc.) is advantageous and will be supported as part of the development journey; a completed professional qualification is not mandatory.
20. Professional fluency in English.
