Your tasks
- Application Engineer II, Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc., Columbia, MD: Responsible for providing pre/post-sales support for our wireless communications customers in North America. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five years’ progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation, to include: 5 years’ experience programming in C, C#, Perl, Python or C++; 5 years’ experience working with wireless test instruments and wireless device control; 5 years’ experience designing, implementing, and debugging and understanding complex hardware/software systems and projects; 5 years’ experience working with wireless technologies, including 5G, LTE, GSM, or WCDMA; 5 years’ experience working with leading chipset vendors, including Qualcomm; and 5 years’ experience working with the usage and application of mobile test equipment. Employee will be required to travel 10-15% of the time on international and domestic trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. Experience may have been gained concurrently.
