This is a unique opportunity to be part of an engineering organization with 90 years’ experience in producing high quality, world-renowned Broadcast & Media equipment. As our Sales Manager of Media Technologies, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. This role will be responsible for Business Development, generating leads, developing new opportunities, and helping the company grow. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager based in North America who will carry a personal sales quota, and manage our North American Media Technologies team. This position can be located anywhere close to a major airport.

Your tasks

  • Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz Media products can provide technical solutions.
  • Manage North America Media Technologies Sales Team with focus on meeting team sales targets.
  • Business Development, supporting team with creating new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Manage team territory growth to exceed team quotas.
  • Manage team sales funnel, while meeting the regional order intake targets.
  • Contribute to teams Channel Partners & System Integrators management
  • Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application / workflow requirements.

Your qualifications

  • BSEE (or equivalent).
  • Five+ years of technical sales experience in Broadcast Applications
  • An understanding of Media industry technologies and workflows (particularly on the Master Control Playout side of the industry)
  • The ideal candidates will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed and hands-on experience with generating sales success
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills.
  • The ability to travel up to 40% within the region with some international travel.
  • External candidates must be US Residents with valid work Authorization to be considered.

The total compensation for this position is $100K-$230K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
