Discover the new R&S®TM1 air-cooled transmitter series
A highlight of our IBC presence was the launch of the R&S® TM1 air‑cooled UHF transmitter series, which was named Best of Show at IBC 2026. The TM1 sets a new benchmark in efficiency and operability, offering up to 40% lower power consumption compared with the installed base, R&S® Auto‑Doherty technology for best-in-class wideband efficiency, and native support for ATSC 3.0 and 5G Broadcast.
Complementing the TM1, our broader transmitter ecosystem provides a migration path to next-generation broadcasting standards, enabling new monetization opportunities such as datacasting, advanced broadcast services, PNT applications (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing), and enhanced multimedia emergency warnings.
