Your tasks

You will be developing ASICs for a wide range of applications in Rohde & Schwarz products, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. These ASICs are characterized by fast A/D and D/A converters, complex digital signal processing, high-speed digital interfaces, and the use of the latest semiconductor technologies
You will be involved in several ASIC design steps, from architecture and concept creation, RTL coding and verification, to synthesis including timing and power analysis
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development methodology and the tools used

Your qualifications

You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
You have several years of professional experience in the field of digital ASIC development and have successfully accompanied product developments
You have knowledge of modern methodologies, tools, and languages used in digital ASIC development
You have advanced knowledge of ASIC technology and the design flow of digital ASICs, and you have solid knowledge in multiple areas of integrated circuit design (concepts, coding, simulation, verification, synthesis, timing analysis, power analysis)
You enjoy working together with your team to solve technical challenges, and you describe your work style as structured and goal oriented
You are fluent in English
