How to use .fsp Files

I have a .fsp file and cannot read it. What can I do?

Answer

In .fsp files, instrument settings and related items are stored in an internal proprietary format. This is necessary

due to the complexity of the parameters that define the instrument’s internal settings. It is not possible to convert

.fsp files into other files. To document or evaluate measurement results, please reload the file into your spectrum

analyzer. You will then have various options for storing the required data in a readable format.

1. You can use the external RScommander program as shown in the application note 1MA74.

The program will load the graphics and the ASCII values into the external PC.

2. You can use the spectrum analyzer’s internal capabilities to store the values in ASCII format.
