The new era of performance power supplies from Rohde & Schwarz has now begun with the launch of the R&S®NGP800 series. These power supplies are designed for versatile applications. They are ideal if speed, accuracy and advanced programming features are deciding factors in test performance.

The R&S®NGP800 power supply series meets the needs of users seeking minimum device footprint with maximum flexibility for voltages up to 250 V, currents up to 80 A and power up to 800W. The R&S®NGP800 comes in five models with 400 W or 800 W and offers up to four output channels with maximum output power of 200 W per channel.

Due to its high functionality, operational flexibility, various connectivity options and safety, it is the perfect choice for R&D, manufacturing and general-purpose use. R&S®NGP800 power supply series also covers voltages of 48V, making the product especially attractive for automotive applications.

Full functionality

Users can benefit from a wide variety of functions that make everyday measurements more efficient: performing waveform tests, logging data for in-depth analysis or synchronizing outputs.

Operating R&S®NGP800 is easy and intuitive for three simple reasons: 5” touch screen enables quick navigation; four completely independent and floating outputs allow for parallel and serial operation; FlexPower ftechnology helps generate variable voltage and current combinations within the overall power limit of 200 W per channel.

Full safety

Protecting your DUT is crucial to limit testing. The R&S®NGP800 power supplies include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP) and overpower protection (OPP). The internal overtemperature protection (OTP) switches the power supply off if a thermal overload is imminent.

Full connectivity

All R&S®NGP800 power supplies include USB and a LAN interface. Optional GPIB interface, a digital trigger I/O, an analog input and a wireless LAN interface ensure additional connectivity.
