This document provides the technical specifications of the R&S®RT-ZFxx oscilloscope test fixtures.

The R&S®RTO Oscilloscope supports the acquisition and the detailed signal analysis of these signals by using the history mode. The history mode allows the user to look back to previous acquisitions and apply the wide set of analysis functions of the RTO.

Rohde & Schwarz and Zurich Instruments will present advanced test and measurement solutions for photonics at the LASER World of PHOTONICS tradeshow in Munich. Highlighted solutions include the R&S FSPN and R&S FSWP, two exceptionally powerful phase noise analyzers for characterizing laser systems. Visitors can also see demos of the R&S MXO 4 and R&S RTO6 oscilloscopes from Rohde & Schwarz as well as the Quantum Computing Control System (QCCS) and lock-in amplifiers from Zurich Instruments.

For measurement settings below 10 mV/div, oscilloscopes typically reduce the measurement bandwidth in order to keep the trace noise as low as possible. The R&S®RTO is different: It offers the full bandwidth even for the most sensitive settings, and an A/D converter with more than 7 effective bits (ENOB) digitizes the signal.
